Dear Linda, Elisha(1) married Jane Mitchell on 6 Nov in Pittsylvania Co. He Married Susannah Farmer on 4 Mar 1817 in Campbell Co. Elisha(2)? married Sarah Eddes on 13 Nov 1815. Almost every genealogy source on the web has Elisha Barber, who married Susannah Farmer, as also being married to Sarah Eddes. I am not sure it can ever be corrected. I have found some good information by using the web and e'mail but the bad information spreads like wildfire. I have a copy of a Pittsylvania Co. land transaction in 1822 where Sarah Eddes and Elisha Barber, acting as executors in their own behalf concerning the estate of her father John Eddes, sell land to David Keen. I also have other documents in the 1820s and 1830s concerning Elisha's financial woes in Pittsylvania Co. If you wish anything else just ask.
