Hi Carmen, I would like to know more about the Uncle (Asa Barber) that you mention in your post. I descend from Asa Barber b ca 1789 in Chatom Co., NC. In 1820 he was living in Washington Co., Ga and later in Gadsden Co., Fl and Decatur Co. Ga. I would love to know if this is the Asa that you are talking about. Hope to hear more from you soon.
