Glad to hear of someone on the list with EN roots. My BARBERs are from around Great Yarmouth. My oldest known is Jane BARBER, age 27, born Thurlton (not Thurston, I believe) as stated in the 1851 census and her 2 children, Jonathon BARBER, age 6 born Heckingham, and Elizabeth, age 1, also born Heckingham. Jonathon was my ggrandfather. He married Anna Maria BRABBINS and had 8 children. He came to Ohio in the US around 1909.
