I have seen Robert Barber and Priscilla Lee in some other postings but cannot find the name of the person who posted it at the moment. I do recall that they said they were descended from either John or Nathaniel. That person's ancestor went to TN and then maybe on to some other state. I have a suspicion that yours could be the Robert Barber who was co-owner of Barber and Blair store in Augusta Ga in the 1820's and 1830's. He died in the yellow fever epidemic in 1839. It took about a decade to settle his estate. I know, because we've looked for the estate settlement, thinking that he could have been the father or grandfather of our (Frederick) Littleton Barber. One reason we think this is that Littleton's daughter Virginia Barber Truitt put an entry in a family Bible stating "Priscilla Barber died 1826". We felt that Priscilla must have been either Littleton's mother or grandmother or possibly baby sister for his daughter to have made that entry. Hope this helps. Hi List, Recently I purchased a number of family group sheets from E-bay. None were of any help to me, but might help others. One of them is quite extensive for URIAH BARBER.
