Hello Banat researchers: I have a general question related to military service in the Banat. What were the military service requirements during World War I? Age at enlistment, required service, etc. Hungarian army or Austrian or? Are there any lists or records available to know who served? (not wounded or killed) Ultimately, I would like to find out if my great-grandfather, born 1898 in Kathreinfeld, served in the military.
