If there is a chance, ask people if someone was related to, I believe two Karlsdorfer Mayer families who moved to Sartscha to work, as I believe in a local brickyard. One of them was Georg Mayer (b. in 1848 or 1852), married to Katharina Dekorszy. Chances are slim that someone would know, but you never know ...
