    3. Hi Sharon, I believe there is a family book for Lugoj.  I would see if you can find it at a LDScenter in your area. Some of my own relatives were from the same area as yours.  They lived in the village of Darowa.  In time, some from the village moved to thecity of Lugoj. The surname Wagendorf sounded familiar to me, so I looked itup in my Darowa family book.  Indeed, thename was there.   I found the following there, and it might giveyou some leads: WAGENDORF Michael *um 1746 Wierschem + 01.02.1801 DarKB. Lugosch:+26.10.1786 Wagendorf Anna Maria 48 J. “a.d.Pfalz, loco Wischheim” = Wierschem; oo 3.12.1786 Wagendorf Michael, Ww, mitMeszin Susanna, ledig;SKR Lg 384: einq. 4 Pers. Dar: Haus-Grundbesitzer 1797/98: Michael Wagendorf, senior, H.156 mit 16 Joch; It then goes on to show Michael’s marriage to wife, AnnaMaria NN (one child) and  wife SusannaMESZ (four children).  There are 5 pagesof Wagendorf information in all.  Would you happen to know the name of your great-grandfatherWagendorf?   I understand that his son, your grandfather, was Franz, as was your father, but I can check to see if there is any Wagendorfborn in Darowa with you great-grandfather’s name. I did not find the surname TURASEK or its variations in mybook, but the Mach surname was there. I hope this helps you in your search, Sharon. I don’t know how toconvert to simple text, so I am sure this will come out with question marks allover it.  I will send you the message directlyto make it more legible.  Sincerely,Catherine Teufel O’Neill
