However, since you used -H?pfl- as example for your query, I kindly ask you on possible reason for using this example. As a private researcher, I am chasing the big Hipfel family on a worldwide basis. Due to misspellings, bureaucratic or language problems our family name got many variations. To give you a few examples: Hipfel, Hipfl, Hippel, Hupfel, Hupfl, Huepfl, Huepfel, Hiipfel - and of course also the German Version with an Umlaut u (showing two dots on top). If you do have any connection to the family, I would appreciate to exchange views and data.
