    3. Hi Larry, The abbreviation “WK” refers to Wilhelm and Kalbrunner. These are the 2 authors that compiled the information in the Vienna colonist registration lists. The numbers after the WK refer to the page number and line number for that entry in the book, so 121/10 is line #10 on page 121. “Wien 04.Mai 1770" is the date on which Mathias SERVO registered in Vienna. Registered colonists were then eligible to receive the right to settle, received tax relief for some period of time, and even exemptions from military service for a year or 2.
