    3. Hi Robert, After reading Ricardo's reply, I thought that the place name may have been mis-transcribed, and that is, in fact, the problem. The manifest says that Elisabeth OSTER is living in Emilienmajor, the Hungarian version of Emilienhof, near Molidorf. I found Elisabeth in the Molidorf Familienbuch: #O-014 OSTER (OSZTER) Peter *ca. 1847 Lenauheim, living in Toba +06.10.1908 Emilienhof, age 61 (so, the family is shown as living in Emilienhof the year after the manifest date) oo UNGER (UNGAR) Elisabeth children: 1. Josef *02.05.1886 Karolinenhof oo Elis. SZOMOCU, 07.01.1912 [place of marriage not stated] 2. Johann Peter *02.05.1889 Karolinenhof Do you have the D Zerne books? If, not, I can send you that info as well. Best, --Karen On Jul 3, 2014, at 11:33 AM, "Robert Evensen" <[email protected]> wrote: > Thanks Ricardo for your help. 3. Thank you so much Karen! Amazing. Yes, I have the Deutsch-Zerne books. What I didn't know was the death date for Peter Oster and also that he had two more children. I am also helping a woman in Wisconsin who is a descendant of Peter Oster. She did know any of this. So, two people are happy today.
