My mom's side of the family were from Klek, which is now known as Zrenjanin. It's a village in Serbia, in the Zrenjanin municipality. In fact, you can read a brief Wikipedia article about Klek here: Klek (Zrenjanin)<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Klek_%28Zrenjanin%29>. If I'm not mistaken, my aunt has the sort of map you're referring to. Dave Dreyer might have one as well...John -----Original Message----- Date: Wed, 17 Sep 2014 12:09:43 -0700 From: DavidnRenee Witte <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> Subject: [BANAT-L] Klek To: "[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>" <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> Message-ID: <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Hello Group: I am hoping that some one still might have information on the village of Klek and if so do they have a copy of the page of the book that listed the houses and who lived in them prior to the years of 1944? What ever happened to the village after Yugoslavia broke apart into Serbia? Does anyone have any recent photographs or images of the village of my grandmother, her siblings, and my mother's cousins Thank you David W
