    3. Marilyn, I routinely pay all my bills in Germany by sending Euros in cash by ordinary mail. Never have had a problem. If you have a 20 Euro note there should be no problem. Transfer with a bank to bank transfer is just not practical.     3. I agree and do the same.  The bank transfer costs $25-$35, so it is not practical unless the amount is larger.
