Last year, on the occasion of the 135 birthday(and 50 death day) of Stefan Jaeger, an exposition of 165 of his finest paintings was held in Ingolstadt. A catalogue has been published of the exposition. This is the largest collection of Jaeger paintings ever published. A copy of the catalogue, priced at 15 Euro plus postage, can be ordered from, [email protected] In a somewhat related matter, a Jaeger watercolor which was donated to the Gr St Nikolaus HOG was put up for sale as a fund raising effort. The painting is of two young, sitting girls in their Tracht. The picture is size 20 X 14 cm with a wood frame, 34 X 28 cm. It had a starting bid of 700 Euro. The sale ended on 17 Dec so we do not know the final sale price(Banater Post 10th Dec). Dave Dreyer
