When it becomes safe and convenient, it would be welcome to hear from any of our list members living in the former Banat-Batschka how things are going in the aftermath of the historic flooding a few weeks ago. I know Stasa lives on the hillside in Novi Sad, but life was surely affected even on high ground - and there is not a lot of high ground in the Zrenjanin. I suppose we will eventually hear of some damage to historical structures and records which will be saddening. Of course, right now the focus will and should be on the people who call the land home.
