I didn't know if there was a book published for Gertinosch. When you said that "the Jung family is from 1911", does that mean that you do not have any information on Jungs prior to 1911??? If this is true, I don' t think you can help me. I will give you my story, none the less :) I would LOVE to find a birth record for my ggrandparents, because I have so much conflicting information that we are now considering the possibility that my ggrandfather may have had 2 different families at the same time. We always thought that my ggrandfathers name was William Schirmang, after his father Wilhelm Schirmang. (b: ab 1870) It was a surprise to find that his name was Antal on all the children's birth records. This was surprising because he had a brother named Antal who was born in 1875. Both state Sarafol as their birthplace. Anton #1 and Rosa are my ggrandparents. Anton #2 and Marianna is my ggrandfathers brother (or is it) and wife. When the birth records of the children of Anton #1 and Antal #2 are examined carefully, the signatures of both Anton's are very similar. Our family lore states that Wm. (Antal #1) died in an industrial accident at the time of his last child's birth in 1903. Timeline: Anton #1 had 4 children between St. Hubert and Kathreinfeld. 8/1892, 6/1895, 7/1896 and 6/1899. Anton #2 has 1st child 1/1900 (birth record has ligitimate crossed out and natural written instead.) Anton #1 has 5th child 1/1901 (dies at 2 mo.) Anton #2 has 2nd child 3/1902 (birth record has ligitimate crossed out and natural written instead.) stillborn. Anton #1 has 6th and last child 5/1903 (father absent at birth, states he was in Katalinfalva.) Anton #1 dies (no records for this, just family lore) 1903 Anton #2 has 3rd child 7/1903 (Father absent at birth. Child is recorded under mother's maiden name and no father mentioned on orig form. In margin, added later, Anton #2 declares child as his and is amended to be his 'natural' child.) Anton #2 marries Marianna 3/1905 (after having 3 children) Anton #2 and wife immigrate to US 4/1905 (without children) Anton #2 and wife have 3 children in US 1905, 1908 and 1910. Anton #1's wife immigrates to US 1910 Anton #2 and family take trip to Hungary to bring back 1st two children. 1911 Anton #1's children immigrate 1912 I am very interested in finding my ggrandparents marriage record. I think it may tell us some valuable information. I am also very interested in learning more about the Jung side of the family. We know very little. Rosa b: 12 Mar 1869 had a brother named Joseph b: 25 Jan 1867 both in Gyertyamos, Hungary and perhaps a brother named Wilfur.
