Hello! On 26th of February 2010 there a conference on ethnic Germans is planned, out Danube Swabians included. It is hoped that the film "The Forgotten Genocide" will have its debut there. Below is their program: - Rosina The Forgotten Genocide Lecture Series Confluence Room February 26, 2010, Friday 11:00am Dr. Andreas Wesserle Professor of History and Political Science College of Political Science, University of Munich College of Political Science, University of Wisconsin Dr. Wesserle will be speaking on the history of the ethnic Germans beginning before World War I through present day. Documents drafted throughout that time will be used to prove the knowledge of many governments before, during and after the ethnic German cleansing took place. 12:00pm Rudolph Pueschel Research Scientist NOAA at NASA Research and Arthur of the Czechoslovakian Nation In regards to the ethnic German cleansing Mr. Pueschel will lecture on the controversy surrounding Erika Steinbach taking a seat on the board of the foundation “Flight, Expulsion and Reconciliation” In this struggle she has to fight both German and Polish bureaucracies for the right to adequately represent the German expellees' interests. 1:00pm Lt. Col. Brian Landry Assistant Professor of Leadership and Ethics Air command and Staff College Department of Joint War fighting Lt. Col. Landy has written his thesis on the comparison between the leaders of prisoner of war camp survivors and the ethnic German death camp survivors. He will bring to light many psychological aspects of their survival and the differences between the POW's leaders and the death camp survivors ability or inability to live productive lives. 2:00pm Dr. Kearn Schemm Jr. Vice President German World Alliance/Deutsch Weltallanz Dr. Schemm will lecture on the World Wide War Against the Germans. Beginning in 1914 the war against ethnic Germans in the United States started with small changes, ending publication of German language newspapers, dropping the requirement of learning German in school. The small changes turned into larger changes which will be brought to our attention through Dr. Schemms lecture. 3:00pm Dr. Tom Sunic Croatian Diplomat PhD. Political Science at University of California Published Author on Cultural Pessimism, Heritage and Meta-Politics Writer and Translator of French, German, English and Croatian Dr. Sunic lecture is entitled The Fate of the Danube Germans in Yugoslavia in the Wake of WWII.
