Our local Hospice Store here in Mansfield, Ohio where Esther works as a volunteer has an old (1842) German Language bible for sale but they don"t know what it is worth, but usally sell items at a reasonable price. The script is so different that it is difficult for me to make out many of the words on the front page. If anyone has an interest, I could get a better description of the condition etc., and I could send an image to view, and I would be happy to pack and ship if anyone is really interested in buying same.
