THE DONAUSCHWABEN ARE DESCENDED FROM THE COLONISTS WHO WERE SETTLED IN THE PANNONIAN BASIN BY THE HABSBURGS IN THE 18TH CENTURY. THE GAKOWO DEATH CAMP EXISTED FROM MARCH 1945 UNTIL JANUARY 1948"
