Military re-enactments have become increasingly popular in the last 20-25 years. I was suprised to find that there is a re-enactment group for the 61st Infantry regiment, which recruited in Torontal County of the Banat, based in Southern Calif. Most Banaters will have a ancestor somewhere who served in this regiment.
