Hello Val, I don't know if this will help you in any way .... but information can always be tucked away for future use. I have a paternal aunt who married into our family. Her name was Anna Lamprecht. She had a brother Joseph who also emigrated into New York City -- not sure of the exact date but she married into the family somewhere in the 1930's -- exact date I can look up later. She was one of about 13 children. She came from Germany -- a small town called (sounded like) Beffendorf. Her father was the mayor when she was child. I've been meaning to get more information from my cousin (Anna's daughter) and still don't know how much information my cousin has. Just thought you might like to know the origin of one of the Lamprecht's. Take care.
