Dear Liz, The quote you provide is totally inaccurate. There were perhaps fifteen million persons involved in the expulsions ordered at Potsdam by the Big Three in 1945 that affected German speaking populations in Poland, Czechoslovakia and Hungary of whom some two million died in the "humane transfer of populations" ordered at Potsdam. The experience of the Danube Swabians in Yugoslavians was in addition to that which unfortunately is not explained in The Forgotten Genocide which focuses almost exclusively on Yugoslavia except for a few oblique references to East Prussia and Czechoslovakia in passing. It is important that we got our facts straight.
