Frohe Ostern everyone, Nick has provide me with the German version of the poem. Wondering if anyone out there has the time and desire to translate it for us all. I'm sure we would all appreciate it. Mary Ann From: ntullius@sympatico.ca To: mahueser@hotmail.com Subject: Peter Jung Poem Date: Wed, 31 Mar 2010 15:22:44 -0400 Mary Ann, Here is a more complete version, from the book “Die Donauschwaben” by Anton Valentin (München 1959). Hello, Does anyone know where the information in these pages comes from? http://www.genealogienetz.de/reg/ESE/banat_s.htm I'm just wondering how they know how many people were living in these towns in certain dates? Setschafeld lists 731 people in 1931, but other towns list dates of 1910, 1913, 1930, 1940. And it gives percentages of how many were Germans. Does anyone know where this information comes from? I didn't see any sources listed. Thanks, Amy
