    1. Re: [BANAT-L] GERMAN STYLE CREPE
    2. My family made a crepe style pancake that we called Dina-pahn-a-kuka. It was our take on Dünnepfannkucken (not sure this is a correct spelling though). We sprinkled ours with sugar and cinnamon. We loved them fresh and warm right out of the frying pan. 3 eggs 1 Cup flour ( approx.) 1 cup milk sugar - heaping Tablespoon + dash It's a thin batter. Heat the pan with oil. Put in enough batter to make about a 10 inch pancake. Roll it around to cover the bottom of the pan. When it has browned a little, turn it over, and finish the other side. It doesn't take long. Serve as soon as possible. My maternal grandparents and great grandparents (1907), my paternal grandparents and my father(1913)--though he was born in Konak--all came from Franzfeld, Austria-Hungary, and all immigrated to Mansfield, OH Maternal: HALLABRIN Paternal: WAGENHALS Marcia Fay (WAGENHALS) Cobb (Formerly of Mansfield, Ohio) Newberg, OR
