Paul That is great news for you. Question: How did you get the Archives to provide the info? I have written to the Archives in Zrenjanin and they confirm having the birth records for Ecka but that I need to have permission from the Secretary of Culture in order to access the records. From the local archives (in Zrenjanin), I was able to get a certified letter naming her parents. Now I just need to figure out how to pay them for their services. A list of the various archives in northern Serbia can be found at http://www.vojvodina.com/kultura/html/archives.htm. I had to do a Google search to find the website of the actual Zrenjanin archives. My ancestor's microfilm was listed at http://www.arhivzrenjanin.org.rs/index2.htm. (Beodra is now part of the municipality of Novi Becej). The archive required exact dates of events, as much as possible. ***************
