Hello All, I am hoping that someone may be able to see if there is any information on a couple from either St. Hubert or Molidorf. Michael Lambert and Maria Anna Klein had four children that lived in Setschanfeld: 1. Johann Lambert - his marriage record states he was from St. Hubert and would have been born between 1848-1853. 2. Josef Lambert - marriage record states he was born in Molidorf around 1853. 3. Nikolaus Lambert - death record states he born in Molidorf around 1855. 4. Katharina Lambert - marriage record states she was born in Molidorf on 13 Aug 1859 If anyone would be willing to look and see if there is any additional information in either the St. Hubert or Molidorf Familienbuch, I would appreciate it so much! I spoke with Johann's great granddaughter yesterday and she is very interested in her family's history. One more note - The son, Johann, was the oldest person in Setschanfeld to die under the Partisans. He was 97 years old when he died in 1945. He was married to Maria Anna Schultz in 1876 and together they lived through the deaths of 9 out of 11 of their children. Together, they raised their two remaining daughters in Setschanfeld until Maria Anna died in 1909. Johann lived the remainder of his life in his home with his daughter and her family. Johann is said to have had the most beautiful fruit trees in all of the village and spent all his time caring for them. When Johann was abt. 97 years old, the Partisans arrived in Setschanfeld. When everyone was required to leave their homes to be interned in another part of the town, Johann refused to leave his home. The Partisans forcibly carried Johann out of his home and put him in a house packed with others from the village. Johann died a short time later and was buried in the animal graveyard. Katharina, one of the two living daughters of Johann and Maria Anna, lost her father ( in Setschanfeld), her sister (in Rudolfsgnad), her brother-in-law (in Heideschutz), her husband (in Setschanfeld), and her son (in the war). She eventually made it out of Yugoslavia to be reunited with her two remaining children - the only family she had left. There are no words. Thanks so much! Amy Nichols
