Thank you so much for sharing the hard work and research! I am learning a lot from them! To Pete Modreski- I have Toma/ Thoma/ Dama/ and possibly Damas ancestors in Triebswetter. The names seem to be interchangeable, even within the same documents. "My" Maria Dama was married to Fransciscus Oberding/ Obertin 20/5/1858. Her parents are Nicholas Thoma and Maria Elizabeth Marcaire, also of Triebswetter, however her Thoma grandparents were from Geisselbach or Geisenbach.
