Hello Lorraine, There is a lot of KARCHE, KARCHER in Moselle. They are from Saint-Avold, Achain, Haboudange. I don't know any of them in Banat but it's quite possible that there is, in fact. May be also with other spelling as Margaretha KARCHES who married Peter CLASQUIN on 1808 in Katreinfeld. If you give me more informations on people you look for I'll do my best to be usefull.
