    3. I use "The Master Genealogist" http://www.whollygenes.com/ and feel it is the most versatile program on the market. Most popular is probably PAF as it is available for free download. FamilyTreemaker is widely available at Costco so alot of people use it. I like TMG because it has the best ability to create sources for every aspect of the details we record. It also has wonderful programs as accessories to help make webpages (Second Site).
