I have focused the last 10 years of family history research in the Banat villages of Bakowa, Bogarosch, and Lenauheim. I am starting to selectively branch backwards in time and location particularly in search of my GRUNDHAUSER links. Yesterday I started skimming through the LDS on-line village history book in Neunhausen, Eschdorf, Luxemburg. Its range of records goes from 1788 - 1793. See it at _http://search.labs.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start_ (http://search.labs.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start) I am immediately struck by the familiarity of so many of the surnames in the first couple dozen pages. For example: ADAM, BECKER, BERG, CONRADI, GENGLER, GRAFF, HEINRICH, HERMAN, HUBERT, JACOBY, KUNSCH, LAMBERT, MAJERUS, MICHAELIS, MOLITEUR, REICHARD, REUTER, ROLLING(ER), SCHAAK, SCHLOSSER, SCHMITT, SCHRODER, THEIS, and VALTER. I believe that coincidence is not knowing enough of the smaller details. John Kronberger Littleton, Colorado
