Hello to Everyone! After the 30 year war ended in 1648 quite a few Swiss settlers from overpopulated Switzerland spread all over devastated areas of the Holly Roman Empire. Some of those family names still live in Switzerland, and perhaps your roots go via Danube Swabian areas, Germany & France all the way to Switzerland.
