Excellent article Rosina. Another recent example of forcing enemies together in one country is Iraq. The British drew a line on a map forcing the Kurds, Sunnis and Shias to live together. Saddam's brutality kept the lid on for a while, but, with him gone, it is clear that they do not want to live together. But we westerners, in our wisdom, continue to try to force them.
