Peggy, I have a paper version of the map shown at http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~romban/map/xymap.html hanging on the wall. I remember buying it in 2000 at the Heimattag der Banater Schwaben. There is a beautiful map entitled "Rumänien Nördliches Banat und Arader Land" with bilingual (Romanian & German) names for the once German-populated localities. It was published by the Höfer Verlag (www.hoeferverlag.de) and carries ISBN 978-3-931103-4. I believe that it is also available from landsmannschaft@banater-schwaben.de in Munich for 10.90 Euros (plus packing & shipping). A simpler way of purchasing it was from Mr. Rainer Kapp in the USA. Unfortunately, I changed computers and cannot locate Rainer's address. I am aware of the dvhh map and I use it constantly. What I neglected to mention is that I am looking for a 'real' map. One that I can hang on my wall or use anytime. One that I can purchase. If there are others of you that know, please let me know. Thank you for all of the responses that I have received so far. Peggy mpkausch@sbcglobal.net wrote: > Denise - Thank you so much.
