    3. I am familiar with the yellow map that others have recommended. I bought a copy from Steve Herold a few years ago. I had it laminated and it hangs beside my desk. It is very handy. I suspect this is the one Rosina refers to that will be for sale at Mt. Angel. I also have the Northern Banat map referred to by Nick below. It is a 1:200,000 scale, so it is pretty detailed. It is also pretty large (abt 39" x 25"), so you would need a little more wall space. I am a map guy, so I love this map for the detail it shows, but not everyone is that interested in these details. It has the current names and German names of villages. Unfortunately, it only covers the northern Banat down to a Detta/Moritzfeld line. I had the pleasure to meet Guenther Philipp, the man behind this map, in Ulm this past May. He is a charming young gentleman dedicated to preserving his DS heritage. He told me that he hoped to have the southern Banat map ready this autumn. I don't have the contact info for Rainer Kapp either, but you can contact Guenther at guenther_e_philipp@yahoo.de The map was for sale for 10.90 Euros at the Ulm Treffen, but he is charging $22USD or $25 CAD to mail from Germany. I will I will forward a couple of emails to the list that add a little more detail.
