The first two kids, Nikolaus and Elisabeth who are in the passenger ship record must be the result from the first marriage to Katharina Heck who was from Stanischitz/Batschka. There were several families in Josefsdorf who came from Stanischitz. I think there is a Stanischitz Familienbuch in the Sindelfingen archvies which may have more information of Katharina Heck. This Schestak family moved from North Dakota out to Portland Oregon sometime between 1910 and 1920. There are 3 pages of Hecks in the Stanischitz OSB. The closest I could come for a Katharina born in 1853 is: Katharina Heck *8.01.1855 Daughter of Josef Heck * 24.11.1804 in Stanischitz and Katharina Heichele *25.12.1803 in Stanischitz.
