Distance to Kudritz-Belgrade is approximately 100 km, or 67 miles. Direct distance Belgrade-Bremen about 1500 km, or about 1000 miles. You'd have to find out what rail connections would have been used in 1920s to get actual distance traveled from Belgrade.
