Good morning - I'm looking to find our line in the family books Bogarosch & St Hubert. We know the BAITZ surname was changed in Banat from BEITZ sometime in the mid 1700's or so. Bogarosch : BEITZ Adam, BEITZ Franz (cobbler Beitz), BEITZ Johann (Nani Beitz), BEITZ Eberhardt (Hanever Beitz), BEITZ Johann (Bartl, also called tower clock Beitz), BEITZ Nikolaus (musician), BEITZ Nicholas (Kaul Beitz or no 96), Your help is most appreciated. Hello Danube Swabian Researchers, The passenger list of the 2466 immigrants to ENTRE RIOS, BRAZL can now be found at www.hrastovac.net <http://www.hrastovac.net/> under the "Passanger Lists”. I was surprised to read, that extended families emigrated together, and in many cases what seamed even the whole village population. Greetings from Vancouver Island, Rosina T. Karen, regarding newspapers, I just came across this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Germans_of_Romania Media [Allgemeine Deutsche Zeitung für Rumänien](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allgemeine_Deutsche_Zeitung_f%C3%BCr_Rum%C3%A4nien) (ADZ) is the daily German-language newspaper in Romania. It is currently the only German-language newspaper from [Eastern Europe](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eastern_Europe).[14](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Germans_of_Romania#cite_note-14) Regional German-language publications also include [Banater Zeitung](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Banater_Zeitung&action=edit&redlink=1) (for Banat) and [Hermannstädter Zeitung](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Hermannst%C3%A4dter_Zeitung&action=edit&redlink=1) (for Sibiu).
