    1. [BANAT-L] Sankt Andreas FB Look Up - Mathias Bruns
    2. Trish Stumpf Garcia
    3. Hello, I am looking for Mathias BRUNS or BRUN (or maybe Baum?) from St. Andreas and wondering if he is listed in the Sankandreas Familienbuch. - born around 1888 - went to Philadelphia in Dec 1903 on the Köln, age 15. Background: My ancestor, Michael Stumpf went to Philadelphia in 1907 and Mathias Bruns is listed as his cousin on his passenger list entry as the person to whom he is going. Michael Stumpf likely returned to Hungary/Banat before 1910, since he is not listed in the 1910 U.S. Census and most likely by 1913 when he was a godfather in Grossbetschkerek. I could not find Mathias Bruns in the 1910 Census either. My only sources are the passenger lists and David Dreyer's ship list extractions (as Mathias Brun, Michael Strumpf). I am looking to verify Mathias Bruns and to know what the familienbuch has about him and his family. (The book had been scanned by the FHL but when I went into a Family History Center I got a message that it was not available there. Now I see the link has been removed from the catalog entry. https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/1655879 ...so I don't know what that means.) :( Thank you for your help. Best regards, Trish Stumpf Garcia
