Judy, I find the birth record of Josef Putz *15 Sep 1873 son of Johann Putz and Margartet Kortje in the Sartscha KBs as you indicate. I have not found the marriage of Johann Putz and Marg Kortje in the Sartscha records. In the Lazarfeld family book I find the following entry. To Judy ottenger: I also have family named Jost. They are my maternal grandparents. Nicholas Jost emmigrated from banat area in 1906 to St Louis MO. Would love to know his parents name. I believe we had 15 attendees at the Banat get-together in the Twin Cities this past weekend (a bunch of Donauschwaben plus three Romanian friends). That's pretty good with less than a week's notice.
