Hi Sharon, I guess "mybanat <mybanat@gmail.com>" has given you a very short but clear answer to your question. However, since you used -H?pfl- as example for your query, I kindly ask you on possible reason for using this example. As a private researcher, I am chasing the big Hipfel family on a worldwide basis. Due to misspellings, bureaucratic or language problems our family name got many variations. To give you a few examples: Hipfel, Hipfl, Hippel, Hupfel, Hupfl, Huepfl, Huepfel, Hiipfel - and of course also the German Version with an Umlaut u (showing two dots on top). If you do have any connection to the family, I would appreciate to exchange views and data. Linda, If I have it right Botosch(Botos) is located on the Temesch a bit south of Ernsthausen. In addition to Setschan and Ernsthausen, Sartscha, D Etschka, and Sigmundfeld are other German villages in the neighborhood. However, so far as I am aware, Botosch KB records are not included in any of these places. This leads to the view, in my mind, that Botosch must be a stand alone parish and that one would have to search for the KBs probably in the NeuSatz archives. Hi Dave, There isn’t a family book for Botosch, so I was wondering about the church records themselves - whether Botosch kept its own over some period of time, or whether all births were recorded in a parish elsewhere. A good suggestion I got from Rudolf Hüpfl to try the Setschan records unfortunately yields no information - Josef Jerhoff isn’t in the birth index for any time around 1879, the year he was born. All of Josef's siblings (that I know of) were born in Ernsthausen from 1881 onward, and Josef himself was married there in 1908, but his marriage record says he was from Botosch (born 1879). Need clarification on ADAM LAUER b. 25 Sep 1839 L202 and L171 in Billed Familiebuch His mother is shown as Anna Maria Burian on both of these, however, Anna Maria’s death is shown as 1836 and Adam is shown as a child of a second wife. Would you be able to find out who his mother is. L202 and L203 for Joseph Lauer are confusing. Show two different birth years and a second marriage with two children not including Adam. Thank you, Cathy Ott

Evelyn, thank you for your answer ! I do not know if Theodor Matye was from Molidorf, he left from Temeswar. This is what I know for Josef Rollinger from Dave Dreyers Shiplists: ROLLINGER Josef -[B452]- Age: 24 -From: St Peter (D) -DtAr: Friday, 16 Nov 1906 - To: Braddock, PA -Via: Ham/NY -Ship: Batavia -Note: Born in Nemet St Peter. Going to join bro-in-law, Theodor Madei. Last residence, Temeswar. And I assume the brother-in-law is this one: MATYER Theodor -[M360]- Age: 30 -From: Temeswar -DtAr: Tuesday, 14 Feb 1905 - To: Braddock, PA -Via: Fiu/NY -Ship: Pannonia I only found one Josef Rollinger from Nemet St.Peter what is Deutschsanktpeter in Germnan in the records from Deutschsanktpeter : Josef Rollinger born 2 Mac 1883 and this is my greatuncle, the age would be alright, the place of origin is alright, his family moved to Temeswar between 1897 and 1909 so this could also be possible, but I was not able to find a wedding record for him to have a proof that he is the one on the ship going to a brother-in-law named Theodor Madei oder Matye. What I hope is to find the family of Theodor Matye and then someone in the Thedor Matye-familiy that knows something about my Josef Rollinger and where his descendants are living today. And there is another passenger-record in 1909 possibly for him coming back from Temeswar. Thank you in advance Anni Gesendet: Montag, 06.
