Hi Catherine, Thank you for the leads... I am getting Anton/Antonio Rollmann's Alberta Canada homestead records c.1907 to c.1911 and maybe some information is in them. I have no other information about her, but I figured that you might want to know that there were Schells in Lenauheim. Also, I was wondering if the Rollman surname could have originated as something else. In Mercydorf, there were early settlers with Role, Rollenne, and Rollin surnames - all from Guinzelling, Moselle, Lorraine. The families more on from Mercydorf - perhaps to a French village. I hope this helps. Sincerely, Cathy Teufel O'Neill

Darrel, I do not find your Rollmann and Schell in the Kl Betschkerek family book. There is only a single Rollmann entry at the time of the original settlers. Do you have any guesses of other villages where they might have lived. The New Arad family book only goes to 1835 so perhaps Neu Arad is still a possibility. A similar problem exists for Detta since the Detta family book only goes to 1846/1852. I looked through all the other villages associated with Krummenacker as a family name-----St Hubert-Soultour, Dolatz, Tschakowa-Woteg-North Dakota without results. I wonder about Gilad? I think it is somewhere on line----you might check. This shouldn't be that hard. I now think that Antonio/Anton/Anthony Rollmann (1873 to 1911) and his wife Theresia Schell (1877 to 1946) were born in Klein-Betschkerek and lived in Neu Arad c.1899 to 1905 before the family ended up briefly in the USA and then in Alberta, Canada. In the Detta book, would you please see if Anna Krumenacker, daugher of Peter Krumenacker and unknown, was born there on 25 October 1887? She married in 1910 at Vibank, Saskatchewan, John Jung (1885 to 1977) mentioned in my previous email.
