A note regarding the rail tracks: Years ago, the United Railway (later the Baltimore Transit Company) would run a funeral car into certain cemeteries. One of the was Loudon Park as I recall. My great-grandmother was a charwoman working for United, and was responsible for keeping the funeral car bright and shinny.
