i believe your george is related but have not found the tie , yet. i will hopefully be able to run down all the starr people of baltimore when i get to the National archives in D.C. and the hall of Records at Annapolis. The answers must lie in the land records along with wills and port records and court records. regards, jason ----- Original Message ----- From: WVALindaD@aol.com Sent: Monday, February 11, 2002 10:48 AM To: BALTGEN-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [BALTGEN-L] GEORGE W. Jason: I recognized one of your STARR's which may be connected to my SIMPSON line. I have GEORGE W. STARR as the father of ELIZA ANN STARR who married THOMAS B. SIMPSON on 29 Mar 1854 at Mount Calvery Church by Rev. George Stokes. GEORGE W. STARR is listed as "Esq." in the Baltimore Sun article on the marriage of his daughter. THOMAS B. SIMPSON is listed in the trust estate documents of GEORGE W. STARR, lots on McCullough St. and Madison Ave. and lot at Mount Vernon Hall on Howard St., 08/26/1857. Is this GEORGE W. STARR the same one you cite in your e-mail?
