    3. Tim, Is any of this information re immigration available on line. I am looking for my grandmother's arrival from Ireland in Baltimore (Locust Point) around 1885. Thanks for any information. And in some cases, people assume that if someone immigrated to the United States, they had to go through the port of New York. 3. Joan, I do not know if it is or not, but it would be nice wouldn't it? I'm sure there are some sites posted for individual ones, but not for all of them together. I had the CD with those postings of where ships had docked, but it has since disappeared. It did not have names of families who had arrived. Did you try going to "GOGGLE" and putting any type information into the search engine to see if something would come up? 3. Charlie, I would venture to say that yes, that would be a good place to find them, but also, I have seen files at the Maryland Historical Society downtown Baltimore with Ships information in them. That also is an excellent place for searching for your ancesters. Tim Robinson Catonsville Balto.
