    1. [BALTGEN-L] Next Meeting of Baltimore County Genealogical Society

    3. I am in WI, so obviously cannot attend this meeting, but I am wondering if anyone has ancestors who came from Wales to Baltimore City via New Orleans around 1850? I have searched the Baltimore passenger lists to no avail, and as a child I remember my grandfather saying that HIS grandfather had first arrived in New Orleans. I know that that was an important port, but am wondering how many Welshmen did that to get to Baltimore (and Baltimore was his immediate destination--it's not like he migrated north). Thanks for any info.
