    2. The following death notices appeared in the Baltimore Sun on July 31, 1896. Hope they help someone. Anne Marie SMALL - Elizabeth Small, widow of Francis S. Kelley, and daughter of the late Thomas and Jane McCreer. Funeral this (Friday) morning, at eight o'clock. High Mass at St. John's Church. {It appears the beginning of this notice was cut off my copy 31 July 1896} KELLY - On July 29, Harry E., aged 30 years, youngest son of Sylvester R. and Catherine J. Kelly. Funeral from his late residence, No. 1320 West Lombard street, this (Friday) afternoon, at three o'clock. Interment private. KING - Suddenly, on July 29, 1896, at his late residence, No. 1319 Hull street, John L. King. Due notice of the funeral will be given. KLINGMEYER - On July 29,at 7:30 A.M., H. W. Klingmeyer, in the 42d year of his age, beloved husband of Sophia Klingmeyer. The funeral will take place from his late residence, No. 542 West Lee street, this (Friday) afternoon, July 31, at 2:30 o'clock. Service at Saint Paul's German Lutheran Church, corner of Fremont and Saratoga streets, at three o'clock. Interment private. McCOURT - Departed this life on Thursday, July 30, 1896, at 8:15 o'clock P.M., James McCourt, beloved husband of the late Bridget McCourt. Rest in peace. Due notice of funeral will be given. MEREDITH - On July 30, Raymond Cleman, in the 8th month of his age, infant son of George and the late Minnie Meredith. Funeral from her late residence, No. 659 Haw st., this (Friday) morning, July 31, at ten o'clock. O'CONNOR - On July 29, 1896, John, beloved husband of Ann O'Connor, a native of county Mayo, Ireland. May his soul rest in peace. The relatives and friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend the funeral, from his late residence, No. 1112 Haubert street, on Saturday morning, August 1, at 8:30 o'clock, thence to Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, where a Requiem High Mass will be said for the repose of his soul. Home is sad, O God, how dreary, Lonely, lonesome every spot; Listening for her voice till weary, Weary, for we hear it not. Hard we strove to keep her with us, But love and skill were all in van; We must lay our darling loved one 'Neat the graveyard's sod away. Death's cruel dart has pierced our hearts, And bowed us down with grief; And beneath the silent sod Our darling Marie sleeps.
