Yes, Kathy they are brothers, Ed born approx 1832 Fred born abt 1842, Otto born abt 1835, there was Leo born abt 1850 , Otto was probably there but I'm not sure about Leo. Fred and Otto were cabinet makers Edward may also have been a cabinet maker but after the civil war he made artifical legs as brother Otto lost a leg in the war.
