Due to these mail list suggestions, a few weeks ago I asked the Pratt for information on one of my ancestors. They sent me several items back by e-mail, but said they would have to send other material by copying it and sending it regular mail because it was too long. Was I willing to pay the charges, which were minimal? Of course! I got some fabulous stuff. Then a week or two later I got an e-mail from the Pratt saying they had just run across something else. Did I want it? You bet I did! I got tons of information, hard facts and "setting the scene" information. All because I acted on the suggestions on this list and e-mailed the Pratt!!! What a great service they provide!
