    3. Ruth, Long Green was in the Eleventh District of Baltimore County in 1870. I'm not sure if that answers your question. Within some voting Districts, they recorded pages as being in certain post office areas, including the Little Gunpowder Post Office. An 1877 map shows Long Green Post Office, as well as the Little Gunpowder Post Office, but no boundaries are shown. We knew my husband had ancestors who were farmers in Long Green and I have found several names that look right in 1870 in the Little Gunpowder District and I'm just trying to make sure it's the right area.
