    3. George, While at the monthly meeting of the BCGS on Sunday, I did some researching in their library. I brought home a book entitled "Methodist Records of Baltimore City, Maryland, Volume 1, 1799- 1829" by Henry C. Peden, Jr., published in 1994. The book contained baptisms but none on the Lock/Locke family. But the this family does appear elsewhere im same. Under the heading Marriages of First Methodist Episcopal Church in Baltimore Town, St. Paul and 22nd Streets, 1799-1829, appear the following: Marriage Celebrations by Rev. M. Force: Page 15 - 1819 Jul 8 - (License) Samuel Thompson to Ann Lock Record of Marriages solemnized by the ministers of the Methodist Episcopal Church, Baltimore City Station, from 1807 through 1829: Marriages celebrated by Rev. Dr. George Roberts: Page 26 - 1808 Jan 14 - Wills. Lock to Elizabeth Debrin (Ed. Note: Their Baltimore City Marriage License gave names as "William Lock and Elizabeth Deberix") Page 28 - 1810 May 3 - Jac. S. Brown to Emma Lock Page 34 - 1814 Nov 24 - Samuel Lock to Elizabeth Harris Marriages celebrated by Rev.
