Debbie I am not sure I read you correctly, but records are not moved when new counties are created but remain in the county where they were created. Imagine going through a deed book and creating 2 new one based on where the land is not situated. However if you meant that what is now Cumberland County was until say 1854 part of a larger Original County and the records are there. People living in the area might say they did something in Cumberland when they actually did it in Original. However here wer are talking about only 3 years and an apparent move a new state. JUlia
